Frequently Asked Questions

What does "retouched" mean?

All final images are edited and retouched. "Edited" means that I do the basic corrections to color and tone as well as cull and crop the images. "Retouched" means I also remove blemishes, naturally smooth skin, brighten eyes and teeth, and remove lint and/or any other distracting things from the image, where possible.
I do not alter body shape or change features. All bodies are beautiful, and your features are what make you YOU!

Can I extend the session on the day of?

As long as time, scheduling, and light allows, yes! Additional session time will be billed hourly and payment is due prior to release of photos.

Do you do weddings?

If you are planning a small, intimate, or backyard wedding, I just might be your girl! Let's chat ;)

Do I have to order prints through you?

You can if you would like, but my current packages come with a print release, so you may print your photos where you'd like. I do, however, offer a list of recommended photo labs that will guarantee amazing quality prints. My images are high-quality, crisp, and vibrant...and not all print companies are created equal. Your choice in photo lab can make or break the quality of your prints and canvases.

Do you do Mini Sessions?

I offer a select number of Mini Sessions, a few times a year, in select locations. Dates and locations of Mini Sessions a pre-determined by me and packages include 5 images. Spots are limited and fill up quickly.

What kind of gear do you use?

I shoot with a Sony a7 III Full-Frame Mirrorless camera and multiple high-quality lenses.

Do you travel?

Yes and more yes! There are additional fees for any travel outside my coverage area. Contact me for additional details on availability and travel costs.

Do you provide RAW images?

In short, no. A RAW image file is not a finished product and not a representation of my work or brand, as a whole. While getting a good shot out of camera is a skill and something I pride myself in, I put in a lot of time and effort to cull, curate, and edit your images into beautiful, lasting works of art. Images are retouched, edited in my style, and delivered to you as high-resolution JPEGs. I will not provide RAW files.
